
According to German news agency, DPA’s news Enver Altaylı a former personnel of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MİT) is among the German citizens in Turkey’s prisons.
73-year-old Altaylı's daughter spoke to DPA and said Enver
Altaylı who was detained last August over an accusation of terrorism is in
solitary confinement in Sincan Prison. Altaylı’s family members said that there
is not an indictment about him yet.
Enver Altaylı who is both German and Turkish citizen is
targeted as part of Turkish government’s massive post-coup witch hunt campaign
targeting alleged members of the Gülen movement. His family called out the
German government for help.
Altaylı’s daughter said: “We are calling out the German
government to put more effort for acceleration of the judicial process for my
father and his release.”
